Fun day so far so lets keep the action packed adventure going
today started off interesting. Church Christmas pageant.
kids in angelic costumes + kids in costumes doing speaking parts = adorable scene
Theres my math for the weekend.
we had sunday school class today.. it was pretty interesting. We are looking at the book "The Prayer of Jabez for Teens" and I must say I find this book interesting. I read it and feel like my life is completely useless but hey it happens to everyone at one point or another ( I hope). Found a quote in there today though, I think its the coolest quote I have heard in a long while.
"You are right where God wants you... a prayer away from a miracle"
Wow thats all I have to say. I love that quote.
Sat in church today, pastor Dave (yes thats what we call him- actually the teens just call him PD for short) was leading our silent prayer (time for us to share our own private prayers with the LORD) and I was contemplating (hey its okay to think during prayer time you prayer Nazi's :P) what my life is like. There was more brackets in that then actual sentence but whatever. I came to the conclusion that really I haven't lived for anything, I mean I say I do this or I did this small thing for such and such a person everyday but really my life is a routine. Wake up at the same time, take the same shower, put in the same contacts, eat the same type of foods, catch that same stupid bus, go to the same stupid school with the same stupid teachers with the same kids every day, and then run the same routes, after which I come home and take that same stupid shower all over again. My life has no flexibility, no joy, no room for anything over exciting. Its stupid. My prayer time changed into a massive "God please please please use me for your purposes so I can look at myself at the end of the day and feel like I accomplished something instead of just existing."
Went to niece and nephews birthday party yesterday, they are soo cute, I love kids. Seriously I LOVE KIDS. Screw all teenagers, kids are the rocking people. yea that feels good. Im going off to run. have a good one.
Sincerely (good times)
Jeffrey

You should run in a different direction some day, see where it takes you.
if you mean in life that would be a good idea. If you mean as in the physical form of running there are no routes that i know of that I have not traveled at leas 6 times already. Every possible direction away from the high school I have gone. And away from my house as well.
well... that's a lot of running lol. I dont know if it's changed, but several years ago my dad bought me "the prayer of Jabez for Teens" as well and I must say it was interesting although it's been awhile since I actual read it a.k.a. I don't remeber a thing except what it looked like.
The prayer of Jabez is a very good lil book Keely. you should read up on it again.
and you could always be a kid at heart lauren :P
umm yeah lauren there is no question, you are deffinitly a lil kid at heart. lol. the foamy soap alone proves that
We learned in psyche that during adolescence a main part of that is finding your identity, which you are still doing (and I am too). I wouldn't sweat it.
