"Dedication and commitment are what transfer dreams into realities."

"Failure is not failure but the opportunity to begin again...more intelligently." (if that ain't the truth)

"God gives talent. Work transforms talent into genius." "It's never too late to be what you might have been. " (unless your dead...) "This chance will stand before you only once. " (not when it comes to life and death situations)

"Running has given me the courage to start, the determination to keep trying, and the childlike spirit to have fun along the way. Run often and run long, but never outrun your joy of running. "

"Above all, train hard, eat light, and avoid television and people with bad attitudes." (that is not possible, everyone has a bad atitude at one point or another)

"The answers to the big questions in running are the same as the answers to the big questions in life. Just do the best you can with what you've got, and that includes your stride length."

Maybe this meant something to you, I hope it did....

yes, it meant something to me but its like an individual meaning each person picks up on their own. I like the thoughts in parenthesies. :-)

Hmm... maybe I couldn't grasp what you meant for it to be. Seeing how you are a runner and I am not. But... they are all wonderful quotes that I'm sure we could all apply to ourselves with minor adjustments :).

the different colors were very nice too.
